In the article by Burtea et al, which appeared in the June 2012 issue of the journal (Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol. 2012;32:e36–e48. DOI: 10.1161/ATVBAHA.112.245415), some errors were introduced during editing. On page e38 in the section “Validation of USPIO Derivatives on ApoE-KO Mice” sub-section “MRI Studies”, the word “repition” which appeared 3 times, should have been “repetition”. On page e41 in the >Figure 3 legend, “signal-to-noise ration” should have been “signal-to-noise ratio”.

In addition, the results in Table 2 were unclear and the corrected Table is published below.
