In the December 2004 issue of Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, in the article entitled "2-Chlorohexadecanal Derived From Hypochlorite-Modified High-Density Lipoprotein–Associated Plasmalogen Is a Natural Inhibitor of Endothelial Nitric Oxide Biosynthesis" by Marsche et al (Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol, 2004;24:2302–2306), the abbreviation of hypochlorous acid/hypochlorite in both the abstract and introduction of the article was erroneously listed as HOCl/Oce^–.

The abbreviation should have been set as HOCl/OCl^–.
