Correction

In the article "Macrophage β3 Integrin Suppresses Hyperlipidemia-Induced Inflammation by Modulating tumor necrosis factor (TNF) Expression" by Schneider et al that appeared in the December 2007 issue of the journal (Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol. 2007;27:2699–2706), several corrections were omitted by the publisher during the proof stage:

1. In the "Methods and Results" section of the abstract (page 2699), line 5, "TNFβ" should be "TNF."
   
2. On page 2699, first paragraph of the text, "NF-6B" should be "NF-B."
   
3. On page 2699, second paragraph of the text, the parentheses around "intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1)" and "vascular cell adhesion molecule (VCAM)-1" should be brackets to distinguish them from the outer parentheses surrounding this phrase.
   
4. On page 2700, under "Macrophage Culture," the unit of measure for palmitate should be "µmol/L" instead of "µm."
   
5. On page 2702, under "Accelerated Vascular Disease in Mice Transplanted With β3-Deficient Marrow," the superscript LDLR should be on the line (not superscript).
   
6. In the legend to Figure 3 on page 2703, the unit of measure for palmitate should be "µmol/L" instead of "µM."
   

These errors have been corrected in the online version of the article. The publisher regrets the oversight.
