ATVB In Focus
A New Series of Focused Brief Reviews in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology
Steven R. Lentz, Associate Editor
With this issue of
Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, we introduce a new feature, ATVB In Focus, which will
highlight selected areas of vascular biology, atherosclerosis,
and thrombosis that are undergoing rapid or conceptual change.
Each focused area will be featured in a series of brief reviews
coordinated by a distinguished Series Editor. The brief reviews
in each series will be published periodically to provide the
Series Editors with flexibility to address emerging topics.
The brief review titled "MRI and Characterization of Atherosclerotic Plaque" by Choudhury et al in this issue inaugurates a series titled "Noninvasive Assessment of Atherosclerosis: From Structure to Function," edited by William Haynes. Future series will address a broad range of topics related to atherogenesis, thrombosis, vascular cells, and lipoproteins. We welcome suggestions for ATVB In Focus topics.
